Mr. Bressi's practice involves business and lending litigation, secured transactions involving real property, loan sales, financial remedies, workouts and loan restructuring, and bankruptcy.

Lead counsel for mezzanine lender in US$450 million CMBS loan modification resulting in payment in full of the most junior lender in underwater project.
Lead attorney in representation of investment fund in successful deed-in-lieu of foreclosure of property owned by non-traded REIT.
Lead trial attorney in defense of US$28 million lender liability claim against CMBS lender and special servicer resulting in full defense verdict and award of all legal fees and costs. 
Lead bankruptcy counsel for CMBS special servicer in defeating attempted "cram-down" plan of reorganization and obtaining full reinstatement of US$25 million loan including attorney's fees and late charges.
Lead attorney for receiver in successful sale by receiver of hotel, conference center, and related improvements.
Lead counsel in successful defense and settlement of hundreds of millions of dollars of allegedly defective loans contributed to RMBS securitizations.
Represented owner of four Mexican resort hotels in successful loan modification transactions.
Represented owner/developer of four multi-state timeshare developments in lender liability counterclaims that resulted in very favorable settlement and restructuring of loans.
Represented National Hotel Company's Timeshare Division in successfully resolving through reformation over 2,000 defective grant deeds improperly recorded in favor of purchasers of timeshare interests in very high end project.
