Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019
The Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 (Subchapter V) has been a
topic of conversation for a number of months. Because it is so new,
everyone wants to know how trustees will be selected, what the job actually
entails and how trustees will be compensated.

NABT actively works to stay informed on this subject and will pass
information on to our members as we receive it. Many of the questions
listed above still remain unanswered, but we will continuously seek
clarification to share with our members. Additionally, we were asked by the
EOUST to share the following job post with NABT members.
EOUST Seeking Resumes
The United States Department of Justice, Office of the United States
Trustee, seeks resumes from persons wishing to be considered for inclusion
in pools of trustees who may be appointed on a case-by-case basis to
administer bankruptcy cases filed under the Small Business Reorganization
Act of 2019 (Subchapter V), which amended chapter 11 of title 11 of the
United States Code. All resumes must be received on or before November 15,
2019. Additional information, qualification requirements, and application
