Similar to Wyoming, Missouri is proposing an 8.7% increase for ALL state team members. Nothing targeted for only COs. Part of our FY24 budget request is also proposing an adjustment to shift differentials for evening/night to $2 an hour. This would impact our congregate care 24/7 facility staff only (which does encompass COs).

Wyoming requested an average of 7-8% for everyone based on a market merit matrix, COs will be treated the same as everyone else should this adjustment make it through the Legislature.

If your state has recently provided any form of targeted pay adjustment for Corrections Officers, or if you are planning anything along these lines, please send me a note summarizing the change.
We are considering some adjustments based on competition with the county units in our state, and we have been hearing about adjustments in other states. I would appreciate any information that you can provide.
