We use NEOGOV for our postings and it gathers data for us in this area. In
the Analytics & Reporting section, it shows other states/agencies using
this feature/system and gives us a way to compare. It breaks it down by
agency, classification, etc. and provides good information that we use
regularly on other tasks, like when we revise minimum qualifications on
class specifications. We can see if they are being rejected due to
experience or education and modify the class specifications accordingly.
On average, at this time, it takes approximately 117 days for agencies to
hire, starting from the posting to hiring the applicant.
