[IDHR] STATE OF IDAHO EMPLOYEE OPINION SURVEY

You should have received an email regarding the State of Idaho Employee Opinion Survey regarding total compensation. If you have already responded to the survey, thank you for your participation.  This is a reminder the survey will be open for responses until September 10, 2018.

The Governor's Office has received questions about the health plan questions in the survey. The purpose of the health plan questions is to gauge employees' understanding of their current benefits, the priority they place on those benefits as a component of their total compensation, and their opinion on some of the potential alternate plan options that have been brought forward by the Legislature. The Governor has consistently supported employee benefits in his annual budget submitted to the Legislature.

In addition to gathering employee feedback via the State of Idaho employee opinion survey, the Governor's Office has also directed the Department of Administration to gather information from the healthcare industry about innovation and services available in Idaho that might benefit our employees and the State's health plan. All of the information gathered will be evaluated and presented to the appropriate legislative committees as budgets and legislation are developed over the next year. At this time, no decisions have been made to change employee compensation or benefits.

Again, if you have not yet participated in the State of Idaho employee opinion survey, please do so as your input is important.

The State of Idaho partnered with Korn Ferry to conduct this survey in order to gain insights from employees about the value of their total compensation package. The questionnaire will take about 20 minutes to complete.

There are no right or wrong answers. We simply ask for your honest opinions, based on your experiences in state government. The questions are derived by well-researched and validated survey methodology that requires participants to actively make prioritization choices.

WHAT YOU SAY WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL. Completed surveys will be submitted directly to Korn Ferry. The results of the survey will be reported back to the State of Idaho in summarized form only.

Your views are important, so please complete your survey before September 10, 2018 when the survey will close.
