[IDHR] Sharing Hiring Lists/Accessing Candidates

Hi all,

Recruitment has been receiving inquiries about sharing hiring lists between agencies. We have brainstormed a few options to assist you.

  1.  How to reach out to candidates who applied for the same job classification at a different agency: (Note: sharing lists should only be an option when the classification for the posting is the same at both agencies.)

  *   Contact the agency HR or recruitment contact responsible for the announcement. This helps to ensure they are done with the list and not planning to use it for a future opening.
  *   Provide them with the link to your open position.
  *   Ask them to send an "Invite to Apply" email (found in Insight and OHC templates) to all candidates on the referred and or hiring list besides those that were hired.
  *   If one of the candidates does apply for your position and meets the MQ's, move forward with your normal process.
  *   As with any recruitment, DD Vets and layoff candidates must be offered an interview if they have applied and met the MQs for the position.

Thank you for your application for the (JOB TITLE) position. We appreciate your interest in working for the State of Idaho.

Your application and experience stood out and we would like to invite you to apply for another opportunity that may interest you. We are currently recruiting applicants for our (JOB TITLE) position. To learn more and/or apply please visit: https://governmentjobs.com/careers/idaho (put direct link to the position).

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact (Name, Email and/or Phone Number).

2.            How to pull interest cards for candidates who are interested in a certain class spec or category:

  *   In NeoGov Insight go to Reports > Standard Reports > Click All Categories > Interest Cards

  *   Both Interest Cards by Class Spec and Interest Cards by Category will be displayed. I would encourage you to utilize both, as there may be differences on the reports.

  *   You can look back as far as you want to, but please change the Show Interest Cards drop down to "Active" as these are candidates who have confirmed they are still interested in receiving job alerts.
  *   Feel free to reach out to the candidates with the "Invite to Apply" emails through outlook utilizing the invite to apply template:
