[IDHR] Donated Leave Request

Good Morning,

Could you please forward this request to your employees?

We have an employee at the Idaho Division of Occupational & Professional Licenses who is in need of donated leave due to a qualifying medical reason.

If you are able and willing to assist this employee, please email me with the number of hours you would like to donate. Once I receive your email with the hours you wish to donate, I will send you the Request ID Number.

Requirements for donating time:

  *   You must donate a minimum of 4 hours.
  *   You may donate either Sick or Vacation leave as long as you have 80 hours of the type you donate remaining after donation.
  *   You cannot donate more than a maximum of 80 hours of vacation or sick per fiscal year.
  *   The donated time converts to sick leave for the receiving employee.

To complete the donation once you receive the Request ID Number:

  *   Log on to the State Controller's website
  *   Select Employee Self-Service
  *   Select Donate Leave
  *   Select the Request ID # sent to you
  *   Under Donating Employee Info, enter the number of hours you wish to donate in the blank box, and select if you want to donate from Sick or Vacation.
  *   Hit the "Submit" button at the top of the page
  *   Please let me know once you have donated so I can request the donation transaction be approved.

NOTE:  Due to the Luma conversion, leave donations must be in the payroll system and awaiting SCO to implement them no later than 6/15/2023!  If you are having any problems getting your request completed, please let me or your agency HR know so we can walk through it and get it processed in time.
