Subject: Security Access Request – Luma Go-Live Process


Good morning Security Request Administrators,

As we transition to Luma, the State Controller’s Office will continue to use the Security Access Request (SAR) form to add, change, and terminate security roles.

For Luma Go-Live, the current process of asking the Security Request Administrator (SRA) to submit forms for each employee with Luma Security Roles has been modified.

The State Controller’s Office will be initiating security requests by filling out the forms on behalf of the agency and submitting them to directors for approval.  The rest of the process will be followed as normal.  This will result in numerous requests for directors and/or their proxies to approve each employee as the requests are submitted.  We expect this process to take about a month.  Your patience as we work through getting everyone documented in the system is greatly appreciated.

For new, changes, or terminations of employees with security roles after each go-live, they must be made via the SAR form. The Security Request Form is open to the agencies for the HR and Payroll Roles as of June 20th.  The Finance and Procurement section will be open on July 3rd.
