[IDHR] DHR Statewide Call Webex Troubleshooting

Action: Review tips and if you experience issues joining statewide call, please troubleshoot or reach out to Alex Gittings.

Good morning,

During the last DHR Statewide Call, there were some issues with logging into the statewide call. With the March statewide call coming up in a few hours, I wanted to share some troubleshooting tips to hopefully allow for everyone to join the meeting with little to no problem.

Joining Via Browser

  1.  After clicking the link for the statewide call, this dialogue box will appear:

  1.  If you click cancel on that box, there is a small delay but eventually there is an option below to 'Join from your browser'. This is the fastest way to join the meeting if you had trouble last month!
  2.  A screen appears after clicking on the 'Join from your browser' button, allowing you to enter a screen name. Follow the prompts to join the meeting from there.

Joining Via Webex App

  1.  When you click on the link for the statewide call, a dialogue box will popup that will appear:

  1.  From here click 'Open Webex', this screen will popup:

  1.  You can either join as a guest or sign in and join from here.

Other Tips

If you are attempting to sign in to the Webex app and you are met with a message saying that Webex cannot find your account/an account does not exist with this email address, there are a few things that could potentially be happening.

     *   Your Webex app is outdated
     *   Your Webex account was never activated
     *   You don't actually have a Webex account
     *   You don't have the proper Webex app installed on your computer
For all these issues, please reach out to Alex Gittings, alex.gittings at its.idaho.gov<mailto:alex.gittings at its.idaho.gov>, from ITS. Alex is available specifically for this meeting from 1:30 to 2:30 for troubleshooting. Please reach out to Alex directly with any questions or issues you may have.
