Public Safety TWG -
There have been no comments on updating or changes to the Structures/Address data exchange standard or the Emergency Service Zones exchange standard.
Future discussion points:
1. Next Gen 911 - accuracy
2. Regional mapping - edge matching boundaries, agreement points,
3. Transportation layer - Next critical layer for public safety
4. Cadastral layer - critical for response
5. Vendors - 911 System, CAD, Mapping standards
Other interests / Received comments from:
1. DigLine - they want a statewide layer - structures and roads, USFS Wildland Fire Management - critical structures.
2. There are several people that were interested to know if the APA codes were being used, generically or specifically.
We should meet with the Emergency Communications professionals often, especially as regional approaches are being supported in the proposed legislation.
Geodetic Control - Will give their update at the next IGC-EC meeting on December 10th.
Cadastral Reference - Will give their update at the next IGC-EC meeting on December 10th.

Erin Seaman
