[StateGIS] early REMINDER: Imagery TWG meeting Wed. August 7th

Surprise!!  There is a high probability that Idaho will be included in
the 2013 NAIP data capture!

Contracts, flight planning, and specifics for the deliverables are being
discussed among the Federal agencies securing the funding. Definitive
answers to questions swirling around this unexpected, but welcome,
opportunity are yet to be known with a high level of certainty; however,
it's important to get the GIS community thinking and planning for the
future. Apparently, there may now be some restrictions on sharing the
data (to what extent is unsure) so let's get those discussions started.

Due to time constraints, scheduling issues, and in order to let time
answer some of those pressing questions, we have scheduled our next
Imagery Technical Working Group meeting for August 7th so please mark
your calendars now:

Date: Wednesday August 7th
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Place: IDWR Conference Room 602D --- 322 E. Front St.  Idaho Water
Center - Boise, Idaho (corner of Front and Broadway)

Even in these tough economic times the importance of current,
high-resolution imagery is a top priority for those of us in the GIS
field. Opportunity is knocking at Idaho's door, let's answer with gusto!
