[StateGIS] ArcGIS Online Mapping Meeting Reminder

Everybody,

Just a reminder about the ArcGIS Online (AGOL) sessions.
For the people new to this:
This is a mapping application that will work easily with MS Excel.
Make maps right in Excel, for your use, for your workgroup/agency or publish on the web.
Not just for GIS/mapping people, but for webmasters and business people also.
Very easy to use - if you are good with Excel you can easily do a map.
Any spread sheet with location data - such as addresses works.
Check out what some people have done at:  https://idaho.maps.arcgis.com/home/  (these are only the public maps)

The people that are familiar with this please think about some other areas in your agency that might find this valuable and invite them to the morning session on Sept 12th (see attached agenda).
If you have a one-on-one meeting please involve other people from your agency that might find this valuable.

If you are a GIS person this is a great tool to expand mapping out into your agency with minimal impact on our work load.  We have found that some of the simpler maps can be self-service for agency personal leaving GIS people to concentrate on the more complex maps and map services to support AGOL and their agencies.
