Shift isn't mandated in Arkansas but it is available and has been for a long time.  Departments may, but are not required, to pay shift differentials Here's what we have:


  *   Evening-6%
  *   Night-12%
  *   Weekend-20%  Only applies to:

     *   Critical care, support, and custody at in-patient hospital facilities
     *   Human development centers (behavioral health)
     *   Maximum security prisons
     *   Others 15%

  *   If you qualify for more than 1 shift pay, you get the highest level; they are not cumulative.
