Good afternoon Andrea,
Below is a link to the class specifications in South Carolina’s Fiscal Services Job category.
State Job Classifications | Department of Administration - State of South Carolina (sc.gov)<https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/O9koCn5kmOfQ79Lmh9bVW0?domain=admin.sc.gov>
The AN09, AN11, AN13 and AN15 are intended for positions that oversee the accounting/finance functions for an agency.
CFOs of the largest agencies may also be in our Executive Compensation System which is a Hay point factor system. Each position is evaluated independently and has a unique salary range based on the evaluation.
Thanks, and have a great rest of the day.

Andrea,
The State of Wyoming uses its Executive Management series for our CFO positions. While the class specs are attached, each agency can designate their own preferences for Executive Management positions and at times the positions may be appointed without a competitive recruitment. We use EXMT01, EXMT02, and EXMT03 for CFO positions. The level depends on the agency's total funds, diversity of funds, and other metrics. The salaries listed on the class spec are monthly 90% of MPP (our hiring rate) to MPP. Minimum to maximum are as follows:
EXMT01 $8,183.07 - $12,273.73
EXMT02 $8,670.13 - $13,006.93
EXMT03 $9,190.13 - $13,783.46
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Meghan

Hello NCASG Partners,
I hope your summer is going well.
In NC, we are in the process of developing a Chief Financial Officer series. We are thinking there will be three to four levels (I/II/III/IV).
* If your state has a Chief Financial Officer series, please send a copy of each classification specification.
* Please provide the salary range for each level of Chief financial officer.
* If your state does not use a Chief Financial Officer classification, please tell us what classification(s) you use and provide a copy of the classification specifications.
* Please provide the salary range for each job level.
If possible, please reply by July 12, 2023. I apologize for the short notice, but this is a time sensitive matter.
Thanks in advance for your support!
